WebI only have rigid bikes. Both are steel framed, both are 29ers, one is a single speed, one is a 1x10. They're both new (er) frames too - I built the single in 2009 and the 1x10 in 2012. My thoughts: I ended up rigid on the single because I ran out of money. I figured the rigid fork was about $160 vs. $400-$700 for a suspension fork.
