WebI've tried forcing myself to do it, doing everything when I had the motivation to do it, tried small taking breaks, among other things. I usually only either get limited motivation in very small bursts over long periods of time or strong motivation that lasts for several hours to days and then no will to do anything afterwards. WebBUT, it you do love the sound and the instrument, what I do is I guide my own learning. Help yourself learn new things — try to keep it fresh and not bureaucratic. When you do something for the first time that you couldn’t do before, that feeling is very rewarding. It’s what keeps me coming back.
